Some of our Past Fundraising Events
To ensure this wonderful park continues to be an integral park of the community, it is essential that we make the effort as a community, to raise funds to improve equipment and facilities for the benefit of everyone. To do this our small group arrange fundraising events, below is an example of what we have done in the past to help achieve this goal.
Hallowe'en with Amazonia October 2016
Everyone had a great time with the animals and reptiles at our Half Term event.
The children had a hands on experience of almost all the reptiles. Sweet Pea the Skunk was so beautiful and cuddly adults and children wanted to take her home.

Mini Olympics & Fun Day
What a great way to encourage kiddies to take more excercise. Fun and games; teamwork and competitions we all had such fun.<more images can be found in our Gallery>
Edupets 2015
There's no getting away from the fact that children enjoy anything that creeps, crawls or slithers! This event held during the autumn half term proved to be a big hit. With snakes, spiders and lizards,cute bunnies and hamsters there was plenty for them to see and experience handling the creatures..<more images can be found in our Gallery>
Spring Treasure Hunt April 2017
The weather was kind to us for our 1st event using our marquees purchased with a grant from All For Wales (Big Lottery) All the prizes and goodies went down a treat and fun was had by all.<more images can be found in our Gallery>
Dog Show June 2017
What a barking mad day this turned out to be.
Dogs glorlorious, sunshine and lots of goodies made it a real corker. Community support was at it's best.<more images can be found in our Gallery>
Easter 2016
Despite rain and gales during the week we had a great response from community and the sun shone for us on Easter Saturday. The kids had fun and the adults enjoyed a nice cuppa and a slice of cake in glorious sunshine.<more images can be found in our Gallery>
Annual Dog Show 2016
Our 2nd Annual Dog Show can only be described as a howling success. When we advertised this event we were amazed at how many people registered to take part. Every one of the competitors thoroughly enjoyed the day. Even our judges, the new Lord Mayor and his Lady wife, had a great time. Afternoon Tea & Belmont Singers June 2017
What a lovely afternoon this turned out to be. The rain came down but we were all snug & dry under our new marquees thanks to the Big Lottery. There was food aplenty and the teas & coffees were flowing freely. The Belmont Male Singers gave us a superb catalogue of songs and everyone enjoyed their performance.<more images can be found in our Gallery>
Fun & Games in the Park August 2017
Who could fail to smile when you come face to face with a Super Hero. Excitement bubbles over in the kiddies when Spiderman put in a surprise appearance. The bouncy Castle and 37 degrees in the sunshine made this a sparkling afternoon for all.. (More images can be found in our Gallery>
